Our client is a long-term property management firm and is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for their Residential properties in Providence.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50k - $65k
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Property Manager with residential / tax and house credit experience. This role ensures the efficient operation of a multi-site office and apartment community, with a mix of multiple layered affordable housing programs.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager:
- Providing high-quality service
- Operating the property within established financial guidelines and budget
- Ensuring physical property meets established property standards
- Maintaining occupancy levels
- Reviewing delinquent accounts & rent collections
- Annual recertifications
Qualifications for the Assistant Property Manager: - Must have experience in multi-family rental housing
- Knowledge of tax credits, federal, state, HUD Section 8, and local housing regulations. Tax and house credit experience is required
- Must have strong accounting and mathematical skills
- Must have interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative
- Prior experience with Real Page is a plus
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a must
Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree is required
