Job Details
The Parts Control Clerk is responsible for auditing incoming deliveries for compliance to product specifications and receiving requirements. He/She will also assist Facilities Maintenance Manager as needed. Pay range is from $14-$17 per hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, training, tools, support and disciplines for establishment, maintenance, alignment and continual improvement of the QA System.
- Responsible for day-to-day Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer requirements, quality assurance policies and procedures and accommodating requests for support.
- Leads QA team. Assigns QA team work schedules, directs team, trains associates in required QA processes and monitor's associates' compliance and progress.
- Monitor and report level of QMS implementation, compliance and effectiveness through audit activities, observation, review of quality metrics and customer feedback
- Facilitate QA training for new and existing associates
- Review documents and instruction prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility
- Works with Quality Assurance, Ops Performance and Process Improvement teams to progress Quality initiatives. Incorporates QA, OP and PIM tools and methodologies, as appropriate, in the performance of tasks
- Recommends appropriate methods for supporting the site operations' requirements for quality assurance compliance
- Lead/support coordination of QA license, permit and registration activities and provide direction for compliance with FDA, DEA, ATF, State and other similar regulatory requirements
- Perform daily quality assurance activities as required or directed by management
- Leads and facilitates the development of QMS documentation.
- Schedule and monitor daily work activities for associates within the work group
- Approve/sign off on project/process level instructions and other related QMS documentation, as appropriate
- Identify and take appropriate action when a non-conforming process or output is observed and communicate to site management
- Scheduled assignments for self and work group to be completed timely and accurately per approved procedures and instructions
- Specific assignments to self and work group to be completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Establishment of effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Accomplishment of personal objectives and support of QA and site objectives and goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
- Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude as well as able to handle and address changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, detail oriented
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
- Ability to perform simple math calculations
- Ability to operate various office equipment as needed
- Ability to identify and locate product which requires reading, counting, and printing
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
- Familiar with Topex or Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Team Members and Guests
- Ability to identify, locate, and disburse product
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Must comply with OSHA regulations or MSDS standards
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
