Job Description
For Fall, we are looking for someone to teach two online sections of SOCI-100 Introduction to Sociology.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Sociology or closely related field. Online teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal Degree in Sociology or closely related field. Online teaching experience with Canvas.

develop a current syllabus for each assigned class and distribute a course syllabus to each student;

submit a current copy of each syllabus to the department chair by a predetermined deadline;

evaluate enrolled students and submit grades to the Registrar by a predetermined deadline;
Job Duty
assure completion of the student course evaluation instrument for the semester as requested;
Job Duty
participate in the faculty evaluation process and use the results to improve teaching.

perform other duties as assigned within the scope of current position.
