Sensitive Position No Job Description

To teach all levels of Biology at the Alexandria campus.

Teach Biology particularly Bio 101 and Bio 102, to a diverse student population including majors and non-majors. Provide advising for students. Attend relevant professional development opportunities.

Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications Strong English language communications skills. Ability to use learning management system such as Canvas or Blackboard.

Applicants must have a Masters degree from an accredited institution plus 18 credits in Biology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications PhD in Biology is preferred. Experience teaching various modes including hybrid is a plus. Experience teaching a diverse student population. College-level and community college teaching experience preferred.
