Position Title: LEAD LINE COOK - MAIN STREET | SMOKY'S | UPPER LOT
Reports To: FB DIRECTOR

Employment Status: FULL-TIME SEASONAL | PART-TIME SEASONAL

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assign duties to staff involved in the operation of the assigned work area, ensuring duties are carried out effectively
  • Performs as working supervisor; cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with standards set by F&B Director
  • Assist creating prep sheets for staff and making sure they are completed in a timely manner
  • Up to date with menu items and food allergies associated with menu items
  • Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
  • Food preparation and portioning prior to service
  • Ensures food poisoning/contamination is controlled with food monitoring distribution
  • Good knowledge of principles of quantity food preparations, portion control and meal service
  • Good knowledge of proper methods of handling and storing food
  • Inspects and reports faulty equipment to senior personnel
  • Carries out on-the-job training and instruction for new staff
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment on your feet for several hours at a time.
  • Ability to receive and carry out instructions and critical feedback.

Job Qualifications:
  • Experience in full-service restaurant is desired but we will train the right candidate
  • Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
  • Solid references
  • Flexible schedule
  • Task-driven individual
  • Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, including working a hot line and grill.


More about this position:

Pay: Starting at $21 per hour depending on experience

Position available: Part-time, Full-Time/Full-Time Seasonal and Temporary (weekends and/or holiday) available.

Hours: 8am to 6pm including holidays and weekends
