Job Summary
Our client, an established book author, is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to assist with operational tasks. The ideal candidate would work alongside the Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff 2 days per week in the NYC office.
Day-to-day tasks would involve shipping books, creating mailing lists, verifying addresses, aiding with databases, and other administrative duties.

Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm
Hourly: $30-35/HR
Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative tasks and queries from the author
- Write and send emails, letters, faxes and forms
- Prepare lists using Microsoft Excel
- Print letters using Microsoft Word and mail merge for labels
- Support the author and other staff as needed, including help with shipping books through USPS
- Aid with database work and filing paper documents
Requirements:
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Skilled in MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Attention to detail is very important
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification is a plus
