We are looking for someone with A+, Networking+, and a strong troubleshooting background. Light electrical work, breakfix, some physical labor, ie door/display replacement.

Network Operations Center Manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will provide leadership for day-to-day operations of the data center and NOC teams. In addition, you will implement or improve existing SLAs, production support, tools, and industry standards for our data centers. As the Manager you must be a strong leader of projects, internal resources, and external vendors/service providers. This position will play a key role in contributing to the current and future strategic direction for Landmark.

  • Oversee and manage the technical and non-technical personnel supporting the Network Operations Center
  • Assist the organization define and adhere to company and compliance policies, procedures, best practices, and standards
  • Handle long term planning including circuit forecasts, traffic studies, and other network performance criteria
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and debug issues, and solve complex business problems, both as a team and independently
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, train, and support NOC Team Leads and Engineers to achieve initiatives, adhere to deadlines, and proactively mitigate risks
  • Create and update tickets with 100% accuracy, following established procedures
  • Develop best practices, update processes, and technical MOP's
  • Work with vendors to resolve outages as quickly as possible

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of networking, hardware, and/or software experience along with 3+ years of management
  • High level understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting and the OSI network model
  • Familiarity with server operating systems
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Must be able to document issues with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced with aggressive deadlines
  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work extended hours as required
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Ericsson, Nokia, Fiber Optics (CWDM/DWDM), Wireless (Cellular/DAS, Microwave, Wi-Fi), Routing and Switching, Command Line Interface, KPI monitoring, MS Office, Recordkeeping.
