Sr. Maintenance Operator - Sheriff's Office

THE POSITION: Under general supervision this position performs building operation and maintenance for the all the Sheriff's Office facilities to include: the Public Safety Building (Jail), Office of Emergency Management, Sheriff's Office, Central Dispatch Building, the County Auto Shop, Recreation Safety Facility, Marine Boathouse and the Pierce Clegg Work Release Center. Ideal candidates, must possess basic; electrical; HVAC; construction; carpentry; and plumbing skills.

  • $22.68 - $26.94 per hour DOE
  • Public Employees Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI), a pension plan with five year vesting, 11.18% employer contribution, and a lifetime payout upon retirement.

DO YOU QUALIFY?

  • Do you have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of 60 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience?
  • Do you possess or have the ability to possess a driver's license be insured?
  • Do you have the ability to pass a background investigation to include a polygraph?

BONUS DETAILS

Upon hire, a $500.00 payment is made in the first regularly scheduled paycheck. Another payment of $500.00 will be paid upon completion of the one (1) year.
