Position Highlights:

  • Work location: Bellin Hospital, 744 S. Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
  • Work environment: Our Medical Unit is a 26 bed unit. Examples of patients seen include those with Organ Failure (Kidney, Liver etc), Pneumonia, GI bleeds, stroke, detox, weakness, sepsis, seizures, Covid, chemotherapy as well as end of life patients. The patient ratio is typically 1:4 on day/pm shifts and 1:6 on nights. Candidates must work a weekend rotation, which is every other weekend or every third weekend based on department needs.
  • Responsible for executing and maintaining high quality standards of nursing care and/or personal performance ; accountability for department operations
  • Position duties include but are not limited to: facilitating employee evaluation process, providing coaching and counseling to team members and resolves conflict with staff, providers, families, patients and visitors.
  • Salary range is based on relevant years of experience.
Shift Hours:

Shifts will be a mix of days and overnights with an every 4th weekend rotation, holidays only as needed

Job Description:

Responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures. The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with a critical care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:

Wisconsin RN license required.

BLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained.
