The Accounting Supervisor/Manager is a key member of the division leadership team and functions in scale and scope equivalent to a traditional controller role. This role will be expected to lead the finance team to excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage, develop, and lead the accounting department in the analysis and delivery of timely and accurate financial information.
Lead the accounting department in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and facilitate external audits.
Work closely with management in the analysis of financial, operational, and key performance metrics to assist in the business decision making process.
Engage with leadership in other departments to foster strong collaboration, transparency, and teamwork within the division.
Collaborate with the accounting team to develop effective, efficient, and reproducible processes that produce performance results within the department.
Utilize emotional intelligence to build strong communication, trust, and a productive work environment in the department.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise in the areas of financial reporting, accounting procedures, and business analysis.
Fosters an environment that promotes Nucor's culture and encourages continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
Leadership/Supervisory Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA and/or MBA preferred
Manufacturing experience
Willing to relocate for future advancement opportunities
