Job Details

The qualified candidate will work with Client facing business on the Acosta Group Headquarter / Broker Team partners to deliver business and category insights to help protect and grow our client s business at Walmart. You will be an expert on what is important to Merchants from a holistic OMNI point of view. The candidate will provide strategic thought leadership to our clients to shape and size the opportunities at Walmart. You will use Walmart data as well as syndicated data to create compelling and succinct stories to help grow the brands Acosta represents at Walmart.


The candidate may be responsible for the direction and development of team members to ensure deliverables are timely, accurate, and effective in helping to achieve the objectives of the company, clients, and/or customers. Build relationships and foster communication between associates, clients, and customers.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Work with Account Executives to understand Client strategies, apply knowledge of Walmart data and processes to deliver growth for client.
  • Create succinct, insightful presentations that help gain or expand distribution for Acosta Clients at Walmart.
  • Develop repeatable baseline frameworks so there is a best in class approach to all insight work at Acosta Group
  • Manage priorities through excellent communication to ensure deadlines for Line reviews, QBR, other deliverables are met.
  • Build, maintain, facilitate positive relationships, and open communication with client(s), customer(s), and other Acosta associates.
  • Work cross functionally within the broader Acosta Group to share best practices and develop new tools and capabilities for the benefit of our organization and our clients.
  • Be a thought leader within the Acosta Bentonville team and in the Walmart community.
  • Nurture a strong business network in the market to ensure Acosta is on the leading edge of Category and Business insights.


Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement.
  • Category Management Certification Preferred


Work Experience Requirements:

  • 5 8 years related work experience
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
  • Proficient in utilizing Retail Link / Luminate
  • Deep understanding of syndicated data, Nielsen, IRI, Home Scan Panel, SPINS, etc.
  • Possess a solid working knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a strength in the area of customer insights
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
