Mozaic, LLC (www.mozaic-llc.com) is a small, independent, privately-owned investment management firm with over $3 billion in AUM. Our clients are high net worth individuals, foundations and corporations.


THE POSITION


The Operations Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of projects including, but not limited to:


  • receiving and reviewing incoming client communications, executing all client transactions, verifying the accuracy of daily cash and position reconciliations
  • preparing/editing/distributing specialized or complex documents
  • completing and submitting account documents as well as subscription agreements for limited partnership investments
  • assisting the investment team with the distribution of client performance reports
  • communicating with business managers, accountants, custodians, and representatives of investment firms to ensure the timely receipt of statements, cash flows, tax documents, and other financial information related to clients
  • assisting the firm's senior team members with client onboarding and maintenance
  • providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients
  • and other general company accounting, back office, and treasury operations


This position offers a competitive salary based on experience ranging from $78k 100k/year total compensation (base + bonus). This is a full-time, in-office position located in beautiful Beverly Hills, where your comfort and health are at the forefront: electronic sit/stand desks that are safely distanced, ergonomic accessories and a stocked kitchen. Because of our highly cohesive and collaborative style of daily interaction, we require candidates to be fully vaccinated prior to their first day of employment for the safety and well-being of all team members (certain exceptions apply).


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS


College degree required with at least 3+ years of operational experience within wealth management, investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, business insights/analytics or a specialized financial services role. This position requires a great deal of creative and strategic thinking as we manage a wide variety of client projects. Must be driven, inordinately organized and mentally agile with an acute attention to detail; able to think strategically in complex and difficult situations with a strong familiarity in financial operations to speak credibly. The candidate must be able to manage stress well, prioritize tasks, and complete multiple project assignments from several people simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.


Must possess an exceptional intellect, inquisitive mind, and robust written and oral communication skills with an enthusiastic roll up your sleeves mentality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, web applications, various web browsers and native applications on Apple Mac computers required.
