Requirements As a Retail Community Marketing Specialist, you will lead the community marketing efforts for your store/ area and collaborate closely with Store Managers & Retail Teams, all market stakeholders, and head office brand and marketing teams. You are a true brand ambassador, consistently driving engagement with the brand. You are deeply connected to what is happening within your community, and are passionate about connecting the dots between people, projects, and events in alignment with Black Diamonds vision, values, and mission

**We will count on you to:**

* Work with store manager & Retail Team to drive Brand presence in the community through community marketing and activations (community events, partnerships, sponsorships etc)

* Collaborate with Retail Team and Store Manager to develop a yearly strategic goal and direction for the community marketing of the store.

* Implement and execute events within the store monthly

* Represent Black Diamond on a brand level in the community

* Integrate with community members on an influencer and ambassador level

* Perform retail management tasks such as but not limited to opening and closing the store

* Lead the retail team in selling and integrating into the community

* Work the sales floor on a day-to-day basis to connect within the community

**About you:**

You have retail, community driven marketing, events, retail management, sales, marketing, and merchandising experience. You are driven by, and have an overall understanding of climbing, ice climbing, trail running, mountaineering, and backcountry skiing/snowboarding.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business

* MBA (preferred)

* One (1) to three (3) years in community marketing within a retail landscape

* Two (2) to five (5) years in retail marketing
