Companion Animal Hospital is actively looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our great team. The ideal candidate will be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, using in-house lab equipment, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-ray and positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, dispensing and administering medications prescribed by the veterinarian, understands the importance of client education, and takes pride in working in a clean and organized animal hospital. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and Companion Animal Hospital encourages its staff to do the same. Requirements

  • Certified Veterinary Technician, License must be current
  • 1-2 years of prior veterinary technician experience
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Understand the importance of client education
  • Compassionate toward our patients and clients
  • Able to multi-task efficiently
  • Positive and supportive team player
