About the Job

The Radish Head of Corporate Dining Sales is responsible for operating the outbound sales program for Radish s Workplace Dining programs specifically contract-based corporate lunch catering, cafe management, and pantry programs. The Head of Corporate Dining Sales will be responsible for the strategic design of systems and targets for lead generation, CRM organization, and all outbound sales activity. They are also responsible for contributing to cross-pollination between TFS brands, and extrapolation of opportunities from existing Radish Events and Daily Dining clients. This position is responsible for setting sales targets, lead generation, closing sales, and participating in implementation and handoff to the Account Management team.


This position requires an exceptional level of passion, charisma, organization, accountability, leadership and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales professional, with an outstanding track record in the Bay Area contract foodservice industry or closely related industries, and a self-starter who can develop organized systems to guide the future growth of the sales department, while providing visionary leadership for the company as a whole.



Responsibilities

Including but not limited to


Sales Strategy

  • Embeds deeply with existing TFS/Radish departments to understand the company s unique value proposition, capacity, culture, values, strengths and core competencies
  • Works with CEO, COO and other Sales team members to assess existing and potential revenue channels for Radish and to understand their qualitative and quantitative benefits and limitations.
  • Works with CEO and COO to develop a 1, 3 and 5 year strategic plan for sales growth
  • Advises on marketing initiatives, budget, or tools required to support sales activity
  • Works with CEO and COO to ensure targeted and landed business is in line with overall business financial goals.


Lead Generation

  • Uses existing tools, and/or advises on ideal tools for generation, including external vendors, internal software requirements, budget for lead generation, etc.
  • Organizes existing leads in Hubspot and works with with other team members to consolidate outside lists into Hubspot, and update existing leads in Hubspot with most current and accurate status and information.
  • Works with COO and CEO to identify ideal target lead profiles
  • Brings existing knowledge and network to bear on the success of the lead targeting program
  • Works with COO and CEO to develop target cadence for ongoing lead generation
  • Develops and maintains robust system for facilitating internal lead generation and cross-pollination, taking full advantage of the client lists of Foxtail, Tonic the Radish Events program, and Radish Daily Dining, to support revenue in all 4 programs.


Outbound Sales

  • Works with COO and CEO to translate 1, 3 and 5 year sales strategies into achievable but ambitious targets for both weekly sales activity and annual sales outcomes.
  • Establishes and maintains a steady rhythm of sales activity, meeting or exceeding established targets
  • Prepares regular reports on sales activity and outcomes
  • Develops tools to effectively communicate the Radish s unique value proposition
  • Works to refine documents and materials for Radish presentations, proposals and reference materials.
  • Participates in, and ultimately leads Radish RFP Response processes
  • Works with Radish Advisors on major RFPs and sales initiatives


Business Development

  • Advises on initiatives to develop strategic partnerships in the industry
  • Understands and remains up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Engages in generative, strategic conversations to help identify areas of improved product-market fit.
  • Presents opportunities for growth into new verticals or markets and collaborates with CEO and COO on strategy for sales and operations to achieve entry into those verticals.
  • Works with Radish Advisors to expand understanding of diverse but compatible business verticals


Requirements

Essential Skills / Qualities


  • Ability to not only execute on, but develop, sales systems and strategies from the ground up
  • At least 3-5 years Senior Leadership experience in B2B sales
  • At least 3 years in B&I contract foodservice sales specifically. Knowledge of competitive landscape as well as operational details of contract foodservice.
  • At least 3 years in Bay Area Specific B2B sales
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and sales team growth
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration style
  • Exceptional organizational skills and habits. Excellent organization and communication skills. Must be proactive, detail-oriented, accountable, and professional.
  • Extraordinary collaborator who champions company values and contributes positively to company culture, and who actively builds up both supervisees and lateral colleagues
  • Strong understanding of business operation fundamentals
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, great food
  • Knowledge of Bay Area culinary scene
  • Strong work ethic, leads by example, exemplifies a teaching-focused management style
  • Bachelor s Degree Required

Compensation

  • 100,000 - 120,000 Annually (DOE), plus bonus and commission opportunities
