We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join a growing mid-size law firm based in Texas. As an Insurance Defense Attorney you are responsible for handling a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters.
LOCATION: Austin OR San Antonio (Hybrid)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Representing clients in insurance defense litigation, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, professional liability, transportation, premises liability cases.
- Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Performing discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
- Evaluating case facts and evidence to develop effective defense strategies.
- Negotiating settlements and participating in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Collaborating with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel to resolve cases efficiently
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the state bar and licensed to practice law in Texas.
- 3+ years experience practicing as an Insurance Defense Attorney.
- Strong litigation skills, with experience handling all stages of litigation.
- Deep knowledge of insurance defense law and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
