**Position Summary:**

The Customer Service Specialist will work in the Global Testing Services Office within the Marketing and Technology business division and reports directly to the TSO supervisor. This group delivers a high-quality customer service to internal Infineum Technology colleagues in all groups and divisions. Technology has responsibility for the development and deployment of new lubricants for our customers the oil majors.

An important part of this lubricant development process is to demonstrate the performance of these technologies in analytical, bench and engine tests prior to deploying in severe field tests. The results are then shared with the engine manufacturers (OEM) and our customers.

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible to advice, organise and interact with Third-party vendors to ensure Technology can get access to testing. You will work closely with both internal Technology colleagues and Third-party labs to ensure all testing activities can be achieved in the required timeline. The variety of work will provide the successful candidate with a great opportunity to develop both technical and non-technical skills. The Global Testing Services team provides an end-to-end service for all testing requirements globally. Knowledge of the lubricant or other scientific industries are beneficial but not a requirement for this role.

**Key Outputs:**

Work closely with both internal customers and external parties to plan, secure, and manage test requirements

Communicate proactively and efficiently with customers and service providers, building strong and effective working relationships with both

Maintain oversight of testing capabilities, volume, and availability at each lab

Comply with all Infineum processes and procedures

Verify, resolve, and document payment discrepancies

SAP administration

Maintain all documents/evidence required for internal and external audits

Look for opportunities to innovate and drive greater simplification and efficiencies in the team

Provide cover and support for team members

Any additional responsibilities as assigned

**A successful candidate is likely to have:**

Minimum of 3 years customer services experience

Provide customer support through in-person, phone, email, or chat

Excellent time management skills

Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills

Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft software

Strong self-starter and effective under pressure

Ability to work well in a team

Ability to work calmly under high-stress situations

Able to effectively manage multiple projects with competing priorities

Strong attention to detail

Ability to proactively identify issues, report, and resolve

Flexible work style and approach adapting to the situation and to changing priorities

Ability to work with minimum amount of supervision and use own initiative

Willingness to learn and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction

Previous SAP experience is beneficial but not essential
