The Sales Manager spearheads the development and execution of sales strategies, ensures exceptional customer experiences, and oversees efficient internal sales and design processes. This position is responsible for leading and developing a team of Customer Service Specialists while collaborating closely with Sales Engineers to achieve company objectives and enhance sales revenue.

Focus:

  • Utilize expertise in products and services to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within new business markets.
  • Develop and implement robust sales strategies, working collaboratively with marketing to penetrate identified markets effectively.
  • Drive sales revenue growth, establish sales forecasting, and devise a comprehensive sales plan.
  • Manage and optimize internal sales processes and business flow throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead customer sales negotiations, ensuring a positive customer experience and successful outcomes.
  • Select, develop, mentor, and manage a team of Customer Service Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and drive sales success.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, customer portals, and internal policies, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
  • Allocate resources effectively based on strategic priorities, goals, and budget considerations.
  • Continuously improve planning, control, and decision-making processes to enhance overall sales performance.


Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales management, preferably within the sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting, data analysis, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
