Central Supply/Medical Records Clerk

Responsibilities Central Supply/Medical Records Clerk:
  • Manage the central supply room, ensuring adequate stock levels of medical and non-medical supplies.
  • Monitor and track inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Organize, store, and distribute supplies to various departments within the facility.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of medical records and documentation.
  • Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and filing related to residents' medical information.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, nurses, and administrative staff to support their supply and record-keeping needs.
  • Perform general office tasks and administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications Central Supply/Medical Records Clerk:
    • High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education or relevant certifications preferred.
    • Previous experience in central supply or medical records management is a plus.
    • Familiarity with medical terminology and record-keeping systems.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
    • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient privacy.
