AMBA is seeking candidates for the following position based in our new Urbandale, Iowa office: Client Account Sales Representative


Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties are ensuring we are providing excellent service, product knowledge, and presenting the best possible coverage options to our new and existing clients.


All of your clients will be already part of the AMBA family. You will not be making colds or any outbound calls for new sales to new clients. Instead, you will be working with our current base of clients to ensure their insurance product needs are met.


We work with financial professionals and financial institutions. Their unique product needs, including Errors and Omissions, Director s and Officers, Fidelity, and Cyber insurance all lead to an exciting career here at AMBA. And, the best part, we will train you from the ground up.


After a period of training based on experience, your role here at AMBA will include reviewing renewal packets submitted by clients, determining which carriers or wholesalers will accept the risk, working and negotiating with the carrier underwriters, developing proposals for your clients, and meeting with your clients to review options.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must be Property and Casualty Licensed or pass licensing test within 45 days (AMBA pays for the cost)
  • Prior insurance experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
