Senior Automotive Technician

The Senior Automotive Technician assesses vehicles to accurately diagnose equipment failures, removes and replaces parts as necessary, and repairs any necessary mechanical or electrical issues. This position may perform routine maintenance and will work on several domestic and foreign vehicles. Technicians will learn specialized diagnostics and the repair of engines, electronic systems, drive trains, suspensions, brakes, heating & air conditioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Uses manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify and isolate issues and potential problems

Performs quality repairs and replaces worn, old or defective auto parts

Tests parts and systems to ensure they are working correctly

Keeps accurate logs of all work performed

Maintains a clean work area and ensures equipment and tools are in safe, usable condition

Complies with Dent Wizard's safety practices, policies and protocols

Assists with the training, development, and mentoring of less experienced Technicians

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional automotive mechanic experience

Sound problem-solving skills

Desire to work in a team environment

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting base pay is expected to be between $27.00/HR. - $32.00/HR. DOE. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's/Vocational/Technical degree preferred but not required

Advanced training or specialization in any of the systems above
