JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
* Current AHA BLS certification. ACLS and/or PALS certifications may be required prior to first shift.
* Minimum of 18 months experience as an ED RN within the last year.
* Epic charting experience.
* Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
* Strong ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery.
* Competency in current emergency room evidence-based practices and protocols for STEMI, sepsis, stroke, and trauma care.
* Familiarity with conditions such as severe lacerations or burns, sports injuries, allergic reactions, and work-related injuries.
