* Review and analyze Engineering Request Forms.
* Coordinate purchasing activities with the Engineering Department to acquire material in a timely manner.
* Analyze Sourcing Matrix, Engineering Specifications, submit Request for Quote to Suppliers, execute Request for Change orders and issue purchase orders to the Suppliers.
* Ability to work under rigorous deadlines in a time sensitive, fast paced environment required.
* May be required to recommend alternative sourcing to meet the Engineer need dates. Interact closely with Suppliers, Engineering, Supply Business Managers, QA, Shipping, Receiving and Accounting to resolve issues.
* Experience in NPI and SAP are mandatory, Semi-Conductor industry knowledge and experience buying commodities such as Metal Machining, PCBA, Plastics, Quartz, Ceramics, Sheet Metal, Outsourced Assemblies, Cables or Weldments preferred.
****Minimum Qualifications****
* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or equivalent experience
* Proficient computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
* Working knowledge and experience in ERP systems SAP/Oracle and other procurement related tools
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
****Preferred Qualifications****
* Experience in the semiconductor industry or other technical industry is preferred
* Basic understanding of commodity market indicators and technical data
* Experienced in value engineering and lean manufacturing environment
* Commendable negotiation skills to achieve best value pricing and Ability to work autonomously and multi-task
* Consistently demonstrate concern for precision and thoroughness, while maintaining sense of urgency.
* Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams.
* Ability to manage multiple objectives and priorities concurrently in fast paced, NPI Environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Honesty and integrity.
