Job Title: Help Desk Specialist


Location: Alexandria, VA (Near Potomac Yard Metro)


Job Type: Full-time, Onsite


Salary: $26-30 per hour, commensurate with experience


Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary support for AV and conferencing equipment, ensuring seamless operation during meetings and events.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Microsoft O365 support, including account management, troubleshooting, and training for staff.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, and permissions.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Install, deploy, and support standard and multi-functioning network-based printers.
  • Install, configure, and update network software, as well as maintaining hardware and network devices.
  • Maintain inventory of all workstations and other devices.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and repairs, as well as develop data archiving, backup, and retrieval procedures.
  • Remote and on-site troubleshooting of all IT related issues for staff and handling of tickets within Freshdesk, including routing them to the correct team.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience with AV and conferencing equipment support.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft O365 administration and support.
  • Expertise in Active Directory management.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Experience with Autopilot and Intune is a plus.


Work Environment:

  • Onsite position, five days a week, Monday to Friday, 9-5 hours.
  • Professional dress code required (collared shirt, tucked in, professional shoes).
  • Parking available nearby in a garage (paid by employee).
  • Near Potomac Yard Metro for convenient access.
