Marathon Management Inc. is actively seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician to join the team in the Twin Cities, MN area.
Reports to: Roving Maintenance Supervisor
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8am 4:30pm. Rotating On-call schedule (must be flexible based on business needs & some weekends required)
Work environment: Onsite
Travel: Required to travel to multiple properties throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.

About the role:
Maintenance techs will perform property maintenance or repairs as needed or requested by residents and/or property management staff. Property maintenance will include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, keys and locks, appliances, lighting systems, carpentry, etc.
What you ll do:
- Apartment turns, ensure that Move-in standards are met.
- Preventive maintenance according to established guidelines and schedules.
- Exterior maintenance including roof, parking lot, and pool/recreation area maintenance, etc. (if applicable).
- Grounds care may include snow removal, trash pick-up, and possible landscaping etc.
- Complete routine paperwork such as boiler and sidewalk salt/sand logs, etc.
- Attend staff meetings and site maintenance training as required.
Our ideal candidate:
- 2+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician within the property management industry or similar.
- Experience/knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, drywall, carpentry..etc.
- Must have Boiler experience.
- Related vocational education or certifications preferred.
- Proficient computer and mobile phone skills (preferably iOS and Android).
- Proven mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to provide own hand tools and toolbox suitable for the job (a list of those recommended will be provided).
- Willing to travel throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
- MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION & TOOLS.
- A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
