Food & Beverage Manager Wedgewood Golf & Country Club - Powell, OH $45,000 - $48,000 a year Assist members and guests during the dinner service with wine recommendations and selection for perfect pairing with their dinner, decanting of the wine and wine service. To be qualified for this role, you should have relevant experience in restaurant management, day to day operational procedures and be available to work during business hours. You will be working management shifts and be assisting in daily operations in our multiple outlets.
* Assist in training staff to maximize member experience. Train staff in order to maximize their understanding of wine and proper service techniques including glassware, pour levels, storage, beverage pairings and the ability to understand member preferences.
* Ensure that all wine is served in proper glassware and in proper condition.
* Maintain all beverage lists to be accurate, up to date and free of errors
* Help create and promote Member events
* Assist in managing and promoting our exclusive wine club
* Assist in managing day by day operations in our restaurants and pool
* Assist in the execution of Member events.
Minimum Qualifications
* 2 years of restaurant management experience
* Have knowledge of different wines and food pairings.
* Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Good communication skills
* Passion for hospitality
