Position: Design Engineer II
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Work Schedule: Onsite, 5 days a week.
Contract Duration: 12 months Contract to Hire
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Design Engineer II for one of our top medical device clients. This candidate will collaborate with the principal engineer to design and come up with concepts to prototype. They will be working independently, but also integrating with other engineers. 50% of their day will be prototyping and designing using SolidWorks/CAD and the rest of their day will be split in the lab with the manufacturing team.
Must Haves:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, Design modeling, Design prototyping, and device prototyping.
- Proficient work experience in delivery system implants, (anchoring), and general front end R&D.
- Medical Device experience.
