Global manufacturing company is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator to assist with day to day operations for import and domestic duties. Working with logistic partners and vendors to deliver goods as well as balance needs. This role requires 3-5 years of Logistics experience and any type of customs or compliance exposure. Hybrid work environment, three days in office located in Naperville. Great work life balance, and compensation up to $90k on experience.
This role is supporting global operations. We are looking for someone from a corporate level logistics background that's worked with the internal manufacturing team.
Job Duties:
- Logistics operations and customs compliance for assigned import and/or domestic operations
- Logistics loading planning for assigned ports, warehouses, mills, overseas containers and/or break bulk vessels
- Effective shipment follow-up and expediting to ensure on time delivery
- Develop vendor operations to help improve business processes and increase efficiencies
- Internal communication and collaboration with other teams and departments
- Ongoing reconciliation of inventory
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Between 3-5 years logistics experience
- Knowledge related to customs and compliance
- Shipping documentation and customs paperwork
- Logistics KPIs, planning knowledge and CTPAT certification
