STATUS: Full Time
HOURS: Monday through Friday; daylight hours; flexibility required to meet the needs of the Department
LOCATION: Robinson - any location within the organization
SALARY / WAGES: $20.50/per hour
Partners For Quality Inc. is a private, non-profit social services organization based in Robinson Township with a satellite office in the East Hills area. We are the administrative parent company to 5 subsidiaries and are responsible for the Fiscal, Payroll, HR, IT and support services to each. Our subsidiaries include Allegheny Childrens Initiative, Citizen Care, Exceptional Adventures, Milestone Centers and the PFQ Foundation. Through these subsidiaries, we provide community based supports and services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health challenges in Allegheny County.
Responsibilities:
The Painter is responsible for providing painting and staining at properties used by Partners For Quality and its family of agencies. Responsibilities include:
- Attention to details to ensure thorough and accurate completion of work
- Familiarity with painting tools and material
- Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
- Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces to keep them free of paint / stain
- Preparing surfaces:
- To be painted by washing them, if needed, filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding them until theyre smooth
- Powerwashing outdoor surfaces
- Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them
- Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers.
- Maintaining an inventory of supplies like paint brushes, rollers and tarps
- Cleaning and securing all materials when leaving the area for the day
- Removing and reinstalling all fixtures in area being painted
- Displaying a professional attitude working with the people supported, staff, co-workers and families.
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Ensuring proper compliance of building, fire, and OSHA code and regulations
- Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) years experience in painting
- Must pass Human Performance Physical Evaluation
- Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping and reaching on a daily basis
- Excellent references, both personal and work
- Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License with an acceptable driving record
- Must pass a comprehensive physical exam.
- Act 33, 34, and FBI Clearances
Minimum Compensation:
USD $20.50/Hr.
Maximum Compensation:
USD $20.50/Hr.
