Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced and skilled Web Developer with expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building desktop applications, particularly with experience in developing Office add-ins, using WPF/XAML, and ensuring accessibility compliance. As a Web Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality desktop applications that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, particularly WPF/XAML.
- Create and enhance Office add-ins to extend the functionality of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement user interface designs and interactions using WPF/XAML, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Ensure accessibility compliance of desktop applications, following industry standards and best practices (e.g., WCAG, Section 508).
- Optimize desktop applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by QA or end users, and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in desktop development, and accessibility.
Requirements:- 4+ years of experience in desktop application development using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET Framework.
- Demonstrated experience in developing Office add-ins using technologies such as VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office) or Office JavaScript APIs.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, and experience in implementing accessibility features in desktop applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience collaborating with designers.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools for desktop applications.
