Your Role: This position will use pallet handling equipment and pallet repair equipment to efficiently repair broken pallets.
- Safely and efficiently utilize the pallet repair handling equipment
- Ability to build stable, well-built pallets for shipment
- Understanding of pallet components, dimensions, and repair methods used when repairing pallets
- Consistently meet company production and quality level standards
- Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Role Specifics: - Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Hours: 7:00pm to 5:30am
- Dusty, noisy work environment
- Indoor/outdoor work with temperatures varying from hot/humid to extreme cold
- Extensive standing/walking while operating pallet repair equipment
- Overtime as needed
