The Cafeteria Assistant will serve in a capacity that will provide support to the cafeteria manager as it relates to the preparation and serving of meals at Emerson. This position will emphasize co-planning and a collaborative effort to prepare meals that meet CACFP requirements, help maintain the cleanliness of Emerson's cafeteria and kitchen, and serve as a substitute as needed when the cafeteria manager is absent. This position will be part-time and funded by Emerson Family School.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Possess an understanding of working within a food services environment
3. Experience in working within a food services environment
4. Proficient use of computers for word processing, spreadsheets, email, and the Internet.
5. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
