Candidates will be responsible for successfully selling electronic components into various industry segments, customers and territories.
The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that has a passion for sales. You must be comfortable prospecting new business, qualifying those companies, and closing sales. This position requires at least 1 year of previous successful sales experience specifically in the semiconductor or microelectronics industry. This is a full-time work-from-home position only for candidates outside the Tampa Bay area. Local candidates must commute daily to our office in Oldsmar, Florida. Unlimited earning potential with an uncapped commission. Position is a base salary + commission.
Responsibilities
- Establishing relationships with buyers and management at OEM, CEM, and EMS companies.
- Maintain an active customer base.
- Heavy prospecting, cold calling, and outbound phone activity.
- Linked In and Zoominfo research and phone calls to develop and qualify leads.
- Meeting established goals, budgets, and objectives established by management.
- Manage incoming requirements and quoting procedures.
- Coordinate all customer order transactions, order management, and customer service.
- Enter, update, and maintain CRM information, quotes, purchase orders, and sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of at least 1+ year in Franchised or Independent electronics distribution required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Committed to quality and customer service.
- Ability to make proactive decisions and handle customer service-related issues.
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central a plus.
- Works well independently.
Compensation
- Base salary + commission- based on industry experience.
- No cap on commissions earned.
