Indrotec is currently hiring Cooks in Saint Paul, MN
We are seeking experienced Cooks to make delicious food for our guests and residents. In this key position, you will have the opportunity to make an impact for our multi-site food service program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- At the direction of the Kitchen Manager, carries out established Food Service processes and procedures
- Prepares and serves a range of food including hot and cold meat and vegetable dishes, salads, sandwiches, simple bakery items, beverages and other similar food items.
- Adjusts the established menu when perishable items are donated.
- Follows standard procedures for kitchen safety and safe food handling.
- Works with volunteers to ensure proper food handling, safety procedures and service to residents.
Requirements
- 1 year of cooking experience in an institutional environment or restaurant; additional cooking experience preferred.
- ServSafe or equivalent certification within 60 days of date of hire
- Good judgment, self-control, and professional boundaries
- Knowledge of issues impacting people experiencing homelessness, underserved, or at-risk communities.
Schedule
- 5:00am-1:30pm
- 11:00am-7:30pm
- Ability to work every other weekend
