Foster Lawson are exclusively retained by a $200MM organisation in the Food & Beverage space who are looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their team in Ohio, covering 2nd shift.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, as well as at least 3 years of experience supervising teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training, guidance, and supervision to the maintenance team
- Ensure the safe behaviors and safety compliance of the crews
- Ensure work orders are being completed timely and thoroughly
- Manage employee schedules (vacations, shift coverage, training, etc.)
- Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor/contractor work
- Track and manage key performance indicators for area of responsibility
- Reduce downtime of the equipment and the cost of repairs by providing knowledge and working with or directing skilled trades, other maintenance supervision, and engineering
- Provide input and justification for the annual department budgets for maintenance requirements
- Lead problem solving, troubleshoot issues, and initiate the acquisition of additional resources as appropriate
- Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the service team
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Food & Beverage experience preferred
