This company is a leading solutions provider to specialty contractors across North America, serving numerous end markets. This division is a regional provider of traffic safety products serving Federal, State, and Municipal entities, along with commercial and industrial contracting businesses. They support these customer segments by producing two distinct industry categories: truck equipment and sign production. They have a need for a Scheduler.
The Scheduler is responsible for working closely with project estimators, production foremen, production managers, and purchasing in planning, creating, and managing the production schedules. Primary job responsibilities include managing the production scheduling process, verifying inventory availability process control, , and activity duration. They are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of schedule updates. The Scheduler will need to be a good communicator, ensuring an open communication system is available where all stakeholders are informed about changes to established schedules. This position will also ensure that everyone involved in production has the necessary tools and materials to perform their duties effectively. Some additional responsibilities include:
Managing multiple simultaneous production schedules
Ensuring production teams meet critical deadlines
Optimizing production workflow and performance
Reviewing production processes to find areas of improvement
Providing constructive feedback to team members
Creating long-term and short-term production schedules
Qualifications:
3 plus years experience as a scheduler in a manufacturing environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Self-directed and reliable
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
