Strong backend SDE who can come, learn various eCommerce scenarios and contribute to the design and develop solutions.
Strong backend experience in Node.js (with Express or Hapi), JavaScript, Postgres (or any RDBMS)
Strong experience in with one or more of these open source technologies like Redis, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch/Kibana.
Experience with eCommerce is a plus.
Years of experience 5-6 years experience required.
Education requirement Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
Qualifications
Master's/Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent.
7+ years of overall software development experience
Work experience must have included
Hands-on development and Proficient excellence in JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js
Expertise in building REST-based reactive microservices platform
Experience and thorough understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, CockroachDB
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures
Familiarly with event/message-driven system design and architecture
Experience with developing microservices using cutting-edge tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ, etc.
Experience with AWS is highly desired
Proven track record in delivering results, especially in the area of writing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code.
Core Responsibilities
Translation of complex requirements into detailed design
Developing and delivering quality services and solutions using Node.JS, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, No SQL and other web technologies.
Maintaining current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology.
Candidate must be able to work with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental engineering support
Provide technical leadership by providing architectural guidance and establishing best practices.
