The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of personnel involved in receiving, storing, and dispatching products or materials.
- Strategize, develop, and execute safety and security protocols within the warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of the warehouse, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Coordinate and direct subordinate staff to ensure adherence to organizational standards and goals.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to synchronize logistics with key business functions such as sales, order management, and accounting.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive operational procedures, both standard and emergency, for handling, storing, and shipping products.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels to optimize warehouse efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse personnel and management.
- Maintain detailed records including metrics, reports, customer service logs, and safety documentation.
- Develop and execute plans for facility enhancements or expansions, including equipment procurement and layout modifications.
- Drive internal and external system/process improvements to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Analyze invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to strategize staffing and task allocation for peak performance periods.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skillsets:
- High School Diploma required
- 2+ years of relevant job experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Odoo
- High attention to detail and ability to use logic and reasoning
- Strong commitment to confidentiality.
- Knowledge of warehousing management and safety guidelines
- Ability to work effectively and communicate with others
- Forklift certified. Can train and certify onsite if not certified
