Moberly Motors is looking for a Service Manager to join our team. Our present manager is looking to retire. We are looking for the the right candidate to run an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives and maintenance of all service records. Ensure that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.

Lead a team of service professionals to deliver exceptional value and satisfaction to our customers on a continuous basis. This candidate will also help plan, train, lead, and monitor the performance of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to promote 100% customer satisfaction and revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives. This management position is responsible for the service operation which includes both the employee experience as well as the experience of our customers and running a successful operation which includes the development of talent and the overall production and profitability of the department.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Required to maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.

* Required to understand and keep abreast of all federal, state and local regulations that affect their operations.

* Interacting with and managing a staff of technicians

* Leading our service management & reconditioning activities

* Interacting with external vendors

* Fulfilling all service activities needed to meet or exceed operating plan goals

* Implementing and maintaining effective reconditioning processes and flows

* Effective vehicle production and inventory control

* Managing technician productivity

* This is a hands-on, working position

**REQUIREMENTS:**

* Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.

* Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

* At least 2 years of automotive management and automotive customer service experience

* Experience with implementing structured business processes

* A hard-working can-do attitude

* Excellent interpersonal and management skills
