Health Advocates Network is seeking a Chemistry Teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.



Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour



Shifts Details:


  • Monday through Friday 8am-4pm


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and a passion for educating students. The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, conducting experiments, and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:




  • Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the school's curriculum and educational standards

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to help students understand key chemical concepts

  • Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and assignments

  • Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate them into teaching practices



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Teaching certification/license/conditional license in Maryland

  • Previous experience teaching chemistry at the high school level

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
