Today, we are an independent wholly owned business unit of Sigma, made up of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team with an entrepreneurial culture. We have operations in the US, Spain, and Mexico, operating a network of B2C and B2B channels to deliver products across our three operational platforms of Plant-Based Meats, Dairy Alternatives, and Prepared Meals.


As a Retail Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:


  • Develop comprehensive trade marketing plans that align with overall business objectives.
  • Execute effective in-store and online promotional activities to drive product awareness and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging point-of-sale materials and displays.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for strategic trade marketing initiatives.
  • Lead shopper-centric marketing programs to enhance the overall consumer experience.
  • Utilize consumer insights to tailor promotions and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with retailers to optimize merchandising opportunities and improve the shopper journey.
  • Development and execution of commercial strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Continued engagement with Brokers, Distributors and Clients to increase sales.
  • Client prospecting to increase revenue and POS - Involves Travel.
  • Trade Shows attendance for client prospecting and lead development to drive revenue - Involves Travel.
  • Distributor meeting and trade shows to ensure correct distribution and to expand leads and drive revenue - Involves Travel.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.
  • Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify new commercial opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Manage pricing strategy and promotional strategy for Retail Channel.
  • Manage Retail and Specialty channel accounts (directly or through Sigma Core Sales structure), including manages cross-dock service 3rd party for product delivery; manages relation with clients Replenishment Manager to process POs; manages any relation need to keep a healthy client Score Card.
  • Gives up-to-date information relating to customer opportunities.


Travel expected to account for 30% of positions' time.
