Logistics Coordinator


Job Details

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw material to and from the plant and the delivery of raw material and pickup of finished goods. Also responsible for training and directing the Logistics Assistant s daily tasks

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize various transportation provider software systems to facilitate movement planning and scheduling
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Proactively handle customer shipment requests
  • Coordinate daily activity to track location and movement of inventory.
  • Track shipments from pickup through delivery
  • Ensure department is running smoothly
  • Monitor benchmarks and identify trends and problems

REQUIREMENTS:

  • International or Export logistics experience
  • Letters of Credit experience
  • ERP experience, preferably EPICOR 10.2
  • Associate Degree and 4 years of prior experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player with ability to work unser pressure and constant deadlines
  • Problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Professional aptitude, presentation, and demeanor
