We are currently seeking to fill our TSPD Coordinator position at the Georgia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Center for Teaching Support and Professional Development (TSPD Coordinator) will report directly to the Assistant Director for the Center for Teaching Support and Professional Development (AD-TSPD). Primary responsibilities include providing instructional support for educational technologies used by faculty and staff. Other responsibilities include supporting faculty development and training initiatives across educational programs, as well as providing onsite faculty and staff support across all campus locations.

THE TSPD Coordinator will also provide administrative support for faculty and staff training and support; collaborate with the other departmental administrative staff and faculty across all academic programs at PCOM, PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Educational Technology Support

Provide training and support for faculty and staff with educational technologies used by faculty and staff.

Creating and facilitating workshops around education technology, educational support, etc.

Serve as a liaison between end users and technical teams.

Provide training and support for secure assessment software (ExamSoft), and educational technology tools across the institution.

Provide first line response for end users requiring assistance with PCOM secure assessment software and various other learning technologies.

Serve as internal point of contact for educational technologies such as: ExamSoft, Enflux, etc.

Works directly with ITS to prepare and disseminate technical and functional assessment software updates to appropriate groups across the institution.

Faculty Development Support

Assist ADTSPD with initiatives that support and grow the TSPD department.

Support TSPD in fostering collaboration across programs and campuses to allow successful implementation of educational initiatives.

Coordinate the schedule and agenda for quarterly meetings with ExamSoft Department Administrators across the institution.

Triage and escalate problems to support teams within the departments of TSPD and ITS.

Assist in the development of durable on-demand educational resources (instructional videos and how-to documents).

Administrative Support

Schedule, promote, support and track attendance for live and virtual training programs.

Maintain documentation (e.g spreadsheet and reports) of training and support activities.

Organize and coordinate on-demand content within TSPD document libraries

Assist Academic Coordinator (PA) with maintaining calendar of events for TSPD initiatives

Assist Academic Coordinator (PA) in the creation of content of monthly THRIVE Newsletter.

Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures and documentation regarding academic initiatives and training.

Additional Duties

Assists in developing educational partnerships across educational programs, library services, student affairs, marketing, etc.

Travels 4-5 times per year between the PCOM Georgia and PCOM South Georgia campuses.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Associates Degree and two additional years of relevant work experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Coursework in education (specifically K-12), computer science, instructional design, project management, administration, communication, or related discipline preferred.

Skills and Experience

Strong understanding of Excel, including pivot table creation and data visualization required.

Strong understanding of Google Suite required.

Strong written, oral and collaborative communication skills required.

Strong interest in learning and utilizing new technologies required.

Strong organizational skills required.

Strong customer service skills and appreciation required.

Previous experience with Canva is a plus; data analytics and learning management systems preferred.

The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting.
