In this position, you'll be responsible for traveling to different communities in Nebraska and developing relationships in those communities and with prospects and people inquiring and promoting services to help establish and maintain occupancy levels.


****This position is located in the State of Nebraska and will travel throughout the Midwest ****


As the Float Senior Living Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for telling our story and building relationships in the community by using previous sales and business development experience in healthcare, senior living, or geriatrics to include:

  • With previous experience, this person will help with onsite sales training, coaching, and mentoring of current Senior Living Sales Consultants. Will work with RDOs and assist in managing the on-site sales employees. This role will report to the National Director of Sales.
  • Travel to communities in the State of Nebraska as requested to offer support and assist the sales team in person, in the community, and through social media. Make prospect follow-up calls, conduct tours, and work with prospective families regarding the move-in process.
  • Help achieve 95%+ occupancy through marketing, public relations, sales, and resident service activities. Must have a competitive drive to meet and exceed goals.
  • Establish relationships with prospects, residents, and influencers to discover individual needs and help make informed choices.
  • Assist with advertising, special events, direct mail, and referral networking activity to generate positive word of mouth and inquiries.
  • Respond to inquiries, conduct personal visits, and use follow-up strategies to make sales.
  • Submit marketing plan as directed to set and achieve goals; assess and revise plan quarterly. Being detail-oriented, accurate, a quick learner and a problem solver is needed.
  • Utilize the lead tracking system as directed to manage all prospect and referral source contacts.
  • Target, develop, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with referral sources to establish a reputation, build trust, and generate inquiries.
  • Work with the Community nurse, family members, care providers, social services personnel, and other professionals to ensure appropriate placement and successful residency. Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, prospective residents, facility operations, and personnel.
  • Take part in sales team meetings as needed and work positively with other leadership team members to ensure the sales process is a team effort.
  • Receive and record all reservation deposits and other fees related to the marketing effort.
  • Respond to calls for inquiries, tours, and information up to 7 pm during the week and for a specific time on weekends.
  • Monitor all aspects of the building and operations that affect first impressions, and bring concerns and recommendations to the Director.
  • Associate degree in applicable field preferred
