Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) is the largest veterinary dermatology business in the U.S., providing the highest quality of specialty care to pets with acute and chronic skin conditions. ADG has over 20 primary practice locations and numerous satellite locations nationwide. With over 60 doctors supporting the ADG medical team, they strive to lead in clinical practice, research and education in our field. In additional to providing advanced, dermatology specialized care to patients and supporting general practice veterinarians in our geographic service areas, ADG participates in drug/product development and clinical trials. ADG also has the largest dermatology residency program approved by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology to support the training of the next generation of dermatologists.

Requirements

The veterinary Customer Service Specialist, working in our corporate office in Irvine, California, will be tasked with supporting the efficient operation of our veterinary practices by confirming appointments through outbound calling to our pet owner clients and coordinating appointment changes and communications with the individual clinic locations. In addition, this position will support our antigen processing services and provide support as needed to ADG corporate services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including but not limited to):

Duties (including but not limited to):
  • Client service
  • Outbound calling
  • Answer phone calls
  • Take accurate messages and book appointments
  • Marketing implementation
  • Administrative support (data entry, office administration)
  • Packaging and fulfillment

Education and Physical Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a veterinary hospital, using veterinary software is ideal
  • Experience working in the public is a plu (i.e. restaurant, retail or service business)
  • Dependable attendance is required
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day
