Job Summary: The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. This role involves understanding customer needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and effectively communicating how our solutions meet those needs. The Sales Engineer collaborates with the sales team to develop tailored solutions, delivers product presentations, and assists with technical inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and their technical capabilities. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements to effectively position our offerings in the market.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify customer requirements and develop customized solutions. Provide technical guidance and support during product demonstrations, presentations, and sales meetings.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and propose solutions that address their challenges. Develop technical proposals, including product configurations, pricing, and implementation plans.
  • Product Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for customers, showcasing key features and benefits. Tailor presentations to highlight how our solutions meet the unique requirements of each prospect.
  • Technical Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and recommendations on how our products/services can solve their problems and add value to their business.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team in responding to technical inquiries, RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), and other sales-related documentation. Address technical objections and provide clarification to help close deals


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with customers.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to develop tailored solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
