A well-known and respected company, in St. Louis, is searching for a Controller to assist in leading their organization. For this opportunity, candidates will need to be degreed in accounting/finance, have 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, have served in similar roles, experience in the auto dealership, or adjacent industry is a plus, strong technical accounting and finance experience. Candidates will need to be pro-active in their approach, professional and an effective communicator and leader. Must enjoy serving in roles that combine being hands-on and strategic.

You Offer:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance or similar field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles
- Experience as an Assistant Controller, Controller, hands-on CFO
- Experience in the auto dealership, or adjacent industry is a plus
- Enjoy relationship building and empowering their team
- Experience to include accounting, finance, compliance, budgeting and forecasting
- Analysis and reporting
- Must enjoy hands-on leadership roles
- Experience working with leadership/ownership teams
- Effective and positive team leader
You Will Be Engaged In:
- Assisting the ownership team regarding business decisions
- Responsible for all accounting/finance processes
- Oversight of team, hands-on when needed, strategic
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting
- Month/Year end close
- Strategic planning
- Process improvement initiatives and cost savings
- Internal controls
- Team leadership and development
