BGSF is partnering with a private equity-backed $200MM revenue company in a suburb of Salt Lake City, UT seeking to hire a Senior Inventory Accountant. This individual will be a key member of the Plant Accounting team and instrumental in the development of company policies and the monitoring and accounting for company inventory assets
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review inventory accounting activities, included, but not limited to the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements
- Prepare schedules to support and document estimates, allocations, and accruals used in the financial closing process
- Preparation of flux analysis
- Maintain daily and weekly inventory monitoring procedures
- Track fixed assets and assess needs for obsolescence reserves
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of work experience in related field
- Exhibits application of analytical abilities and collaborative mindset
- High Excel proficiency (test may be provided during interview process)
- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred
