Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team onsite in San Diego.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and construct bespoke test equipment for hardware validation and troubleshooting.
- Efficiently operate and optimize a pick-and-place line for PCB assembly.
- Participate in the entire lifecycle of hardware product development, including design, testing, and manufacturing.
- Create 3D-printed jigs and other aids to streamline the assembly process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hardware and PCB design.
- Skilled in CAD software for designing mechanical parts and assembly aids.
- Proficient programming skills, particularly in Python for script modification and automation.
- Several years of relevant industry experience in hardware engineering, specifically within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of consumer electronics a plus
