Qualifications
Education & Training:
B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study preferred; specific training and education focused on the construction project management discipline.
Experience: minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contracts construction company preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Capability to oversee larger and more complex projects and a drive to achieve and produce results on time; proficient interpersonal relations, communications and professional presentation skills; collaborative and generative attitudes and abilities toward working as part of a team; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.
  • Responsible for planning, directing and fulfilling larger and more complex construction projects to achieve and serve the interrelated interests of the project owner.
  • Meeting required strategic forecasting and reporting responsibilities on upcoming and current projects; ensuring that effective and efficient construction and project management sustainable processes, people and technology are utilized properly by assigned Project Managers
  • Growing relationships with customers and pursuing opportunities for future business; assisting Business Development staff in the acquisition of new customers; communicating and collaborating with Project Managers, members of management and staff within the Group and throughout the company
  • Providing mentoring and training support to project management, site supervision and other staff; ensuring that all team members associated with projects support, safety culture and related policies and practices; supporting and adhering to all company operating and regulatory compliance-focused policies and practices.
Duties
  • Ensures that all team members for whom the Sr. Project Manager is responsible, as well as other team members with whom he, or she, has contact, support and adhere to the core values, safety culture and related safety policies and practices.
  • Plans, directs and fulfills larger and more complex construction projects to serve the interrelated interests of project owners
  • Ensures compliant documentation on all aspects of the project are completed accurately, thoroughly and on a timely basis
  • Supports and participates in all required strategic forecasting and reporting responsibilities relating to both construction projects that have been acquired but not yet started, as well as those that are in process.
  • Ensures that sustainable business processes, capable and sufficient team member capacity and technology resources are functioning and being followed by assigned Project Managers, in order to support the effective and efficient fulfillment of construction projects.
  • ggressively pursues opportunities to grow relationships with current customers and position the company for future sales; looks for opportunities for business development; assists Business Development staff in making presentations and other activities designed to help acquire new customers
  • Proactively, professionally and with a team-focused attitude collaborates and communicates with members of management and team members throughout the company to integrate activities and achieve goals for the acquisition, retention and growth of client relationships and toward meeting the growth and profitability objectives for the company.
  • Fulfills all requirements relating to maintaining accurate, complete and organized records; provides a wide variety of reports to appropriate parties, as requested and required; makes presentations to various groups regarding records, trends, project information, etc. as needed.
  • Provides mentoring and training support to Project Managers, Superintendents and other Group team members, including competency development, professionalism and career development.
